The name Bobby Bead was created for a popular line of
personalized children's bracelets with our first retail
location at Riverplace Mall in downtown
Minneapolis. In the last few years, we have expanded
our retail space to become one of the largest retail bead
stores in the United States. Bobby Bead is proud to
offer a complete line beading supplies as well as classroom area.
Bobby Bead has been in the Uptown area of Minneapolis since
1992. We own our own 4,600 square foot building totally
devoted to beads!
Our experienced staff can assist both the beginner beader and
the professional bead artist with suggestions and guidance.
We are one of the largest direct importers and Wholesalers of
TOHO® Japanese Seed Beads, we also import and Wholesale Forward®
Taiwanese seed beads. We also maintain an office
in Bali, Indonesia working with many local silversmiths in
Bali and Java that is the creative force behind many of the unique
beads, findings, jewelry components you will find on this
site. Our silversmiths also create many items in Brass
& Copper that some of the newest items soon to be found on our
Java Copper & Brass and Bali Sterling Silver pages.
