Q: What size are the
AIKO cylinders?
A: They are approximately 10½/o, they are larger than 11/o
but smaller than a 10/o.
Q: Are the AIKO's interchangeable with Delicas and/or
Treasures?
A: No. As they are a slightly larger size, they will NOT work
with Delicas/Treasures in a symmetrical project. They can be
intermingled if a textured effect is desired.
Q: Are they really as consistent as
Toho claims?
A: YES! They are absolutely perfect! There is no culling of
the beads necessary, and the rounded-off edges will not cut
threads when weaving with right angles or sewing such as bead
embroidery.
Q: Aren't they expensive?
A: They are slightly more expensive than Delicas/Treasures,
but because of their high quality, there are no unusable beads
to throw away.
Q: How many colors are available?
A: Toho is currently producing over 1000 colors. We list
over 800 colors at this time, and are constantly adding more to
our stock. Any color can be special ordered if not currently available.
Toho does reserve the right to deny the ability to produce any
color at any time, due to the intense precise requirements
involved to make them.
Q: Are the colors consistent with
Delicas?
A: There are a number of the basic colors that are the same or
very similar, however, the stock numbers and/or names would be
different. There are over 1000 colors of AIKO's, so you have a
good chance of finding a close substitution. Click here for a Delica

Q: What is the difference in the AIKO
stock numbers to the Treasure stock numbers, and are the
colors the same?
A: The AIKO stock numbers are a TB-#, and the Treasure stock
numbers are an A-#. The colors (other than the
color-batches/dye lots differences) are consistent from one
style to the next.
Q: What quantities are AIKO's
available in?
A: We currently stock them in 5 gram RETAIL PRICED packages,
and 100 gram WHOLESALE PRICED packages. Again, any color can
be special ordered if not currently available in the quantity
desired.
Q: How long does it take to get in a
special order of AIKO's?
A: If we need to place an order to Toho for them,. they will
arrive in about 2 to 3 months from our order date.
